My new TATTOO

This is a picture of my tattoo that I got yesterday, right after I unwrapped it! For those of you who don't know this is a picture of the dock from my grandparents house. Below the tattoo is the picture the Tattoo Artist worked from. I have been wanting to get something to represent them for a long time. This seemed perfect! I'm so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents! I LOVE THEM!

Easter

Oh Easter...

~We we were busy last night making Strawberry Pies for today.




~This morning we went to church at Cornerstone. Let me just say are pastor is AMAZING & HILLARIOUS!

~Then we came home to work on the deviled eggs. I hit some rough patches, but all is well!




~Soon we will be off too my co-worker & friend Tiffany's house!!

China

I wanted to show everyone my most prized possession. The very first thing I arranged when we moved in. The house was a disaster but the China cabinet was perfection! haha. For my wedding my VERY LOVELY Aunt Carol & Uncle David gave Rodrigo & I this China set. It's so me...its pink & black & silver!

Easter Package

We were VERY HAPPILY surprised to get an Easter package from the Van Horn nieces! Included were pictures colored by Kenda, Leah, & Imani...they also made us some fridge magnets! Then Ted & Kori & my parents included some scrumptious treats from "The Popcorn Shop" You really learn to appreciate your family when you live so far away...

Our New Place

So I'm going to start off the same way Jill did. Here's the new place! It's a little old triplex & we live in the front house looking part. The part that sticks up on the back right is where the other two apartments are. Luckily we don't hear any noise from the other residents. On both sides of our house are businesses...so it'd pretty lovely & QUIET! Our house is still a little bare. We need to find curtains that we both like. Our bedroom currently has towels over the windows to block out light(I'm a Van Horn what can I say?).Our landlord said we can paint too! So once things are a little more together we'll be doing a little painting as well.

We just bought a new grill so Rodrigo & his friends have been grilling up some good food the past couple of days. It was a pretty good purchase! Especially since they do all the cooking! The unfortunate thing about the new place is that we no longer have a dishwasher. So I've had to clean the nasty grill stuff :(
